DextraData acquires RHEYNI

Essen, April 7, 2026 – DextraData Healthcare Technologies GmbH has acquired RHEYNI GmbH & Co. KG, simultaneously gaining a valuable shareholder. With this acquisition, the Essen-based company underscores its product strategy in the healthcare sector, which bundles patient information and digital communication with nursing staff and doctors into one solution.

RHEYNI was founded in Bonn in 2023 by Prof. Dr. med. Heyder Omran and Niklas Verwey. Similar to the VIBS9 communication platform, which has been part of the DextraData portfolio since 2020, RHEYNI emerged from daily hospital operations. The app provides patients with personalized information regarding their stay, illness, and treatment, while also enabling direct communication with hospital staff. RHEYNI thus complements VIBS9 at a crucial point: the direct digital integration of patients into daily ward routines. With the integration of RHEYNI, VIBS9 will become the central communication platform in hospitals for doctors, nurses, and patients. Personalized information and direct communication channels ensure better orientation, less coordination effort, and more time for care.

As part of the acquisition, Prof. Dr. med. Heyder Omran, co-founder and managing director of RHEYNI, will become a shareholder of DextraData Healthcare Technologies GmbH and serve as Senior Advisor Healthcare to better position the joint company in the future. Niklas Verwey will strengthen the software development team at DextraData Healthcare Technologies.

With this acquisition, DextraData Healthcare Technologies further expands its position as a provider of digital solutions for hospital operations. The company pursues the approach of intelligently connecting processes, people, and data in hospitals and care facilities, simplifying workflows, and significantly relieving staff.
